Video processing gone awry?

I have two cameras running under 3.1.1, and for both the motion capture and time lapse video are a series of jagged lines, as if the video is somehow being improperly processed. I can vaguely make out that there is an image there, but it's as if the encoding has somehow gone wrong. Both are connected via USB. Checking the "deinterlace all frames" box makes no difference, nor does changing the frame rate. The still images that I get for motion detection look fine. (If I could post an image of what the video looks like I would, but I don't see a way to do that in the forum.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Hi Steve, this is not an issue we've come across before! Can you please email us with screenshots to demonstrate what you are seeing. Also please let us know the make and model of your USB devices. Thanks.

To capture a screenshot in Mac OS X, press command-shift-4 and select the area you want to capture. A file called "Screen shot" will appear on your desktop.
