Vehicle Motion Capture Triggers

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but is there a way to only trigger vehicle motion if the vehicle detected in the frame is moving?

The issue I’m trying to prevent is when something triggers motion on a camera where is a vehicle is in view (e.g. a spider triggers motion on a garage camera or a leaf blows in front of a camera pointed at a car parked in front of a house). In these scenarios, there’s a vehicle in the camera frame that’s not moving, but I still get vehicle motion alerts. I get this issue often in my garage if there’s dust or insect activity or with my parking area camera when someone’s visiting and parked outside.

Is there a way to reduce these motion events or adjust to only alert if the vehicle in the frame is moving?

Thanks for the pointer to the other post, @Ben. In that case, I think I’ll follow your suggestion to disable vehicle detection and just keep human detection.
