Apple TV app
I really like the quality of the streams and simplicity of the ATV app. It's actually much more performant than the Unifi Protect ATV app.
However, one thing I would really like to do is surface cameras that are sensing motion (or even more preferably, an object/alert). For example, my office ATV would show my backyard camera by default, but then if someone pulls in my driveway, the driveway stream gets shown for 10 seconds, and then the doorbell stream gets shown when someone knocks at my door.
Frigate has a similar concept called Birdseye. Not sure if they just create an artificial RTSP stream/camera entity generated from other streams where motion or object is detected, but it's a nice concept.
I would assume there's probably also a way to do this via Home Assistant, but my scripting skills aren't that great (and I'm sure even a complex automation wouldn't be sufficient - which I can comfortably do).
Anyone doing anything like this already?

Theres a thread about scrypted. If you get the cameras in there you will use Homekit to show them on motion sensing etc

Yeah. I’ve use scrypted for exposing my cameras to Home app but currently using HomeBridge instead right now. Thanks for remind me of HomeKit ability to do something similar.

I agree that this would be a nice feature to add to our Apple TV app. It's not currently a feature, but we plan to add it in the next update of the app. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great news, and thanks for listening.

Good stuff. Look forward to it. Will the app be able to run in the background or does it need to be running in the foreground ?

OMG this would be amazing. Apple TV app have x number of cameras showing then if motion is detected open that camera full screen for x amount of time or if another camera triggers motion move to that camera.

This would be an amazing feature. Ben please implement this as soon as you can.

I have this working via camera ui plugin with homebridge. Theres also homecam app that I just recently heard about but cant comment on how well it works cause I just downloaded it last night.
