Actions not dismissing Mac Screen Saver

I have actions that have the 'Wake the screen and dismiss the screensaver' option checked but when they run with a screensaver in the foreground they don't actually dismiss the screensaver. I have to go to the machine and press a key to dismiss the screensaver to see what the alert is. Is this something wrong in my settings?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Phil - we did reply to your email however it seems you didn't get our reply. Can you check your junk mail folder please?

    I suspect something has changed in macOS that is preventing this. Can you tell me, did it used to work on a previous macOS version? And, what macOS version are you currently using?

    Make sure that under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, SecuritySpy is given permission to control your Mac.

    Also, we have made some tweaks to the latest beta version of SecuritySpy that could help with this. Please test this and let me know if this fixes it.
