Eufy S340 Solocam - any workarounds?

I saw posts about various EUFY cameras and RTSP manual configuration and I tried them for a EUFY S340, but they don't seem to work. I see it's not officially supported as a Brand Camera, but asking if anyone has gotten it to work and if so, can they please share the magic?

According to this information, here is now to set up the camera in SecuritySpy:

  • Address: 192.168.1.x
  • Ports: leave blank
  • Profile: Manual Configuration
  • Format: RTSP
  • Request: live0


The camera works great in it's EUFT eco system (strong wifi signal, etc.), I would just love to bring it into the Security Spy eco system!! :-)

Greatly appreciate advice and guidance.

    As a battery/solar camera, this won't support RTSP I'm afraid. Due to the limited amount of power available, battery-powered cameras have to wait in a near-dormant state, and only wake up for short periods of time when their passive motion sensor detects motion. Conversely, RTSP is for constant video streaming, and the small batteries in these kinds of cameras simply aren't capable of this.
