Detection within masked area

Hi, i have a vehicle permanently parked, and its in a masked area, but every detection detects it, regardless of whether its a vehicle/human/animal in the unmasked area - is there any way around this, or will it always be detected if its in the frame (even in a masked area)

    Hi Adam,

    Try enabling the option at Preferences > Cameras >Triggers > Advanced Trigger Options > Motion mask also applies to thumbnails and object detection.

    You'll also want to make sure the mask completely covers the stationary vehicle - even if a bit of the vehicle gets sent to the AI for classification, it will be detected.

    Normally, if there is a parked vehicle, we would recommend not using the vehicle detector, precisely due to the issue you are describing.
