Hi Ben (and community)

I often use SS for the 'screen control' to access my MacMini. Recently, I have been having an issue where the keyboard input is not correctly interpreted. eg, when I am in 'remote control' and naming a file, I might push the 'e' key on my keyboard, it brings up an emoji menu. This happens with several different keys. Any ideas?

    That's an odd one. Are you using other than a standard QWERTY keyboard layout by any chance (e.g. DVORAK)? Does this happen all the time?

    One thing that can happen is that modifier keys can get "stuck" on - it's an issue we have seen whereby the web browser will capture and send the key-down event but not the key-up event. Try pressing all modifier keys in turn (shift, command, alt, fn, control) - does this work to correct the issue?
