Captured Video Length
One of my cameras (Amcrest) has begun taking "longer than expected" motion-triggered movies, which get recorded to my desktop. I've check / compared my video settings in SecuritySpy across all of my six cameras, and the other 5 are "behaving" as expected. In SecuritySpy preferences, I have "capture movie in response to trigger" selected, along with "1 movie per event", pre-capture of 3 seconds, and post-capture of 10 seconds. Same as all my other cameras.....still I've recently begun getting 37 long videos on that one problem camera. I'm not absolutely positive, but I believe it's just recently begun doing the longer videos (and they're all 37 seconds, when I expect about 13 seconds). Can anyone help me figure out what I've done to cause this? Thanks Much.

The post-capture time is the time when the recording will stop after all motion has stopped. So, if you have a motion event that lasts 24 seconds (e.g. there is a person moving in front of the camera for 24s), then this plus the 3s pre-capture plus 10s post-capture would come to 37s total. Does this accurately describe what you are seeing?

Ahh, that may be it! Will see if I can run a couple of experiments to verify. I forgot that extended motion could cause extended recording time. Thanks much!
