Dahua NVR error-22185-8969
With the release 4.10 I can now choose a channel(camera) from my Dahua NVR. Before I could not. So I am very happy with the new release.
But now I am getting the error-22185-8969 on this channel/camera. I have had this same error with the first versions of securityspy 4 and connecting to a Dahua camera which wasn't attched to the NVR but on my network via a general POE switch.
As this error message, related to a Dahua camera, is gone I have good hope you can fix it for my NVR channels.
Thanks in advance.

This error indicates that SecuritySpy was unable to decode the incoming video from the device. Is this happening constantly, or intermittently? How is the SecuritySpy Mac connected to the Dahua NVR? I would recommend connecting them via a fast wired ethernet network. It's also worth checking for and installing the latest firmware for your NVR from Dahua.

The camera is connected hardwire to a Dahua NVR. SecuritySpy is running on a Mac Mini which is connected hard wire via a switch to my router. The error-22185-8969 is now gone but my Indigi SecuritySpy pluging now gives every 10 minutes a message "error 835 communicating with network device "NVR".
I have had this similar kind of problems with the first release of 4.0 and a Dahua IP camera which wasn't connect to the Dahua NVR but directly to my router. With the new releases these problems have gone.
