I'll need a little more information in order to help you here. Please let me know the following info:
Have you enabled SecuritySpy's web server?
Are you able to connect to SecuritySpy's web server using a web browser (e.g. Safari)?
Is the iOS device connected to the same network as SecuritySpy?
Does the server appear under the "Discovered" section in our iOS app?
What are the errors you receive?
Any further information and details you can supply will be useful. There is no particular problem with the SecuritySpy 4.0.8 web server that would cause connection issues, so it must be due to a problem with your setup somewhere. -
Indeed I installed the new version and the app and wondered why it would not work. Then went and read the manual and realised I had to set up the service and all the port fowarding rules for the web server lol
Make sure you set a secure username and password for remote access!

Great to hear you worked it out! The web server and port forwarding is off by default, for security reasons.
