Titathink camera compatibility
I recently bought a Titathink TT522PW-B network camera. It was very easy to set up. I got a live image almost immediately, both over the local network and over the internet.
But I can't get it to work with SecuritySpy. The manufacturer is not included in the settings and nothing I do in the manual settings seem to work. All I get is a connection error.
Has anyone else tried to connect a Titathink camera with SecuritySpy?

Hi Kiwi,
This looks like a nice camera, and it should work with SecuritySpy with the right settings.
Firstly, the camera seems to support ONVIF, so this is the first thing to try. Enter the camera's IP address, username, and password, and select the ONVIF profile.
If that doesn't work, try the Manual configuration with /live/0/onvif.sdp as the Request string.
Please report back and let us know how you get on. -
Thank you for your fast reply!
The ONVIF profile didn't work. But when I chose manual settings, with RTSP TCP (video and audio) as the format and used your request string, the image popped up!
Thanks a lot!

That's great to hear.
What is your impression of this camera in general - how is the video quality and low-light performance? -
The video quality is OK, but no more. Even at the highest setting, the image looks like it's been quickly run through a Photoshop comic filter. You can still see colors and details quite clearly, but it looks... filtered in some way. But it suits my needs, so that's most important.
It's hard to say about how good it is at night. I keep it directed at a parking spot, which is under a lamp post (which helps of course!). But I was still surprised at how bright the image was at night without too much grain.

Thanks for your feedback. It's a shame that the video quality is only mediocre, as this camera is much less expensive than the equivalent models from other more well-known manufacturers.
