Two-way audio ?

The major impetus for me to upgrade was the two-way audio.
When will this be implemented, especially for Hickvision.

Works perfect with the desktop version of SecuritySpy and my hikvision camera (DS-2CD2432F-IW 3MP Indoor IR Wifi Cube Camera 2.8mm).

Does the web interface support the 2-way audio?
For my use, I need to use this two-way audio feature remotely… Off-site from the cameras location.

Do you think Remote Patrol will ever update… And will include two-way audio?

SecuritySpy needs and native companion app for iOS… I again, encourage you to author one.

You need to control this and not let your clients be at the mercy of third-party developers schedules. Increasingly, if not already, it's about using SecuritySpy to immediately look in on your stuff… Remotely!

Hi Jay, great to hear it's working.

The web interface doesn't support this, but if you use another copy of SecuritySpy for remote viewing you can achieve remote two-way audio. For viewing-only, you can use an unlicensed version of SecuritySpy free of charge - see SecuritySpy as remote viewing software.

Unfortunately, I need two-way audio/monitoring on a smart phone… that's the future.

I want the functionality of the hugely successful "Ring" cam.

With Apple pushing the "home kit" to the top of their agenda for iOS... don't let somebody leapfrog you.… Round out your awesome desktop client with an IOS counterpart version and make it a complete video security monitoring package.

Just my two cents...
