Hikvision h.264+

I have been turning on Hikvision's h.264+ on some of their new cameras. Security spy seems to work with it ok. Except a few times a day an error gets thrown about i-frame being set wrong. I believe this is because this modified h.264+ uses some background image algorithm to replace the i-frame reference therefore cutting bandwidth and disk usage down by about 50-60%. Is there any way to get full compatibility with h.264+ It is really nice having these cameras take 50% bandwidth and disk space so I would like to keep it on. BTW picture quality is the same I have been comparing...

    At the moment SecuritySpy is incompatible with this Hikvision proprietary format, party because of the I-frame problem you mention. I would advise setting the camera to the standard H.264 format; the reliability this will give you is far preferable over the minor bandwidth improvement that you might achieve with H.264+.
