PTZ
Downloaded the recent update. (jul 25). when I use the PTZ function on any camera, I get an immediate swing into the direction I wanted to go. I can't stop the camera during the path swing. I have to go to the webcam website to move the camera in the right location.
I am open to suggestions. I used to be able to move the camera and it would go as far as I wanted.

This was a problem with earlier versions of the software, but is not a known problem with version 4.0.4. Could you please tell us the camera make/model, and what profile (device type setting) you're using in SecuritySpy? Thanks.

I've got this problem with the Netcat camera I have - 4.0.4. But that may be a driver problem from before 4.0 was released. Often it moves 90 degrees (left right) or wayyy too much unless I'm zoomed in, or will just swing until I hit the opposite key. Also, zoom +/- has only three steps.
