This is a good idea, however it only makes sense if the user can actually define the preset name somehow, which is currently not possible in version 4.x. We'll consider how to re-implement preset names without making the UI too messy (which was the reason why we removed them in the first place).

My AVTech has them defined. Could you search in the camera's prefs somehow to view the preset names, since this is how SS looks for the PTZ preset?

This should be possible with ONVIF cameras, where there is a way to get the camera-defined preset names. But it won't be possible with other cameras, as they all have different APIs.
Another issues is that in SecuritySpy version 3.x the preset names were defined in SecuritySpy and separate from the camera's preset names. So we'll have to consider how to deal with preset names going forward, depending on customer feedback.
