I like the new CPU column on the camera status window. It's given me an idea. I've noticed that my Axis camera's which don't have night vision really hammer SS during the night, the CPU goes from about 5% per camera during the day to about 20% per camera during the night. Would it be feasable to set a max CPU target value and have the fps rate auto correct itself to keep the CPU usage down. Maybe there is a better way of handling this night time hit ? Just an idea.

    Hi Dave, this is a good idea in principle, however there is no way for SecuritySpy to request a different frame rate from the cameras unless it closes and re-opens the stream. This would cause interruptions to any current recordings, so is not ideal.

    I am surprised though that there is such a large difference in CPU usage between day and night. Do you also see differences in the frame rate and/or data rate?
