Image Capture on motion
I've got some cameras set to capture image files on motion detection. I've set the frequency to 10 seconds between image capture but it seems it still is capturing and emailing an image every 2 seconds or so.
Any ideas?
Settings are
Capture image files when motion is detected
Frequency, 10 seconds between image capture
Post-catpture 10 seconds.

SecuritySpy should certainly honour the settings you specify here for capture interval. When you say it's emailing the images, what do you mean? There is no setting to automatically email such images upon capture.

Under actions I have send email to and my address and it sends me 4 images for each detection. I assumed those were the images from the motion capture settings on capture image files.

These are separate functions. The images that get sent to you are never saved to disk: they are captured from the camera at the specified frequency, put in an email and sent. The setting to save images upon motion detection operates entirely independently.

Thanks Ben.

By specified frequency where would I set that?

I suppose I could use the run script option.

Click the "Email Settings" button next to the email option and you will get the Email Settings Window, where you will see a "Maximum image rate" setting - I think this is what you are looking for.

That was exactly what I needed! Thanks Ben.
