Detecting Blue Screen

I'm using Security Spy along with the Indigo 6 home automation program. Works great. However, from time to time I will have a camera 'act up' and Security Spy is unable to access it so a 'blue screen' appears. Is there a way to detect this and prevent programs like Indigo from accessing the camera when there is no video to show?

    I don't think there's a way to remove a camera from Indigo when it goes offline. Via the SecuritySpy Indigo Plugin, you add the cameras you want to view, and they then remain visible, whether there is video supplied for them or not. You could ask the developers of the plugin if they can add an option to change this behaviour, if they have had other similar requests they may consider implementing such an option.
