Network Problems
I have 4 wansview ncm751(w1) cameras a mac mini recording onto a graid dual drive system. When i view my recordings they are ok then they will just jump with like 5 seconds missing, then it will be fine for a while then do the same again. Also the frame rate indicator will drop down to 3 frames a second. My first thought was speed of drive but my drive is capable of over 200meg a second. Everything is wired via cat 5. Any help will be great. Best

Hi John - are you seeing this in the live video as well as recorded files? If so then it's probably a network issue (e.g. temporary lack of bandwidth). Are the cameras connected wirelessly or by wired ethernet?

Hi Ben i am not seeing this on the wansview web interface but i am seeing through the software. I will knock it down to 1 camera and see if that helps. Any other ideas?

tried it on one camera still the same. So i see the issue when just viewing the cams but only through the software. I don't see it when viewing the camera direct through wansview software. So i think network is ok.

Hi John - what device profile are you using, and what "Format" settings do you see in the Video Device Settings window? Under the "Wansview H.264" profile there are a few different options. Try them all, as some may provide better performance than others. The best one should be "H.264 RTSP".
