Vivotek VS-8100 audio

Hi! You have helped me before with an older Vivotek (7100) server I use to select the right format to receive audio along with video. I picked up a couple 8100s about six months ago and never really needed audio with their camera feeds, but now I'd like to try. I selected the same format you suggested for the 7100 "MPEG-4 RTSP (video and audio)" but it isn't letting audio through. Any suggestions on the setting for this one? Thanks as always!

    Here are a few things to check:

    Under the Audio tab of the Camera Settings window for this camera, make sure the audio input is set to "Network audio".

    Log on to the device using a web browser and make sure that its audio features are enabled (they may be turned off my default).

    If you can see the small speaker icon next to the camera in the Camera Status window in SecuritySpy this means that an audio stream is being received - do you see this? Clicking on it will play the live audio through the Mac's speakers.
