Viewing recorded video from another machine
I recently moved my SS from an iMac to a Mac Pro (more powerful). The mac pro (runs 24/7) now records my videos.
However, it is not convinient for me to view recorded videos (not live streams) in my Mac Pro. I would like to view them on my iMac (runs only part time). How can i setup my iMac to see the recordings of SS that are store on the Mac Pro (over local area network). I want to view recordings with SS and not through Finder or file sharing.
Will i need a separate license for the iMac and will it be single or multi camera license?

Simply use a web browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari) and connect to SecuritySpy's built-in web server to view live video and recordings. To find the network address of your Mac Pro, open the Sharing system preference and near the top of the window you will see a sentence such as "Computers on your local network can access your computer at: Mac-Pro.local". So, from the iMac, you can access the web interface by typing Mac-Pro.local:8000 as the address (because SecuritySpy's web interface runs on port 8000 by default).
You'll also need to activate the web server on the Mac Pro: simply open the Web Server Settings window and check the first check-box in that window. -
