INSTALLED NEW HARD DRIVE, RUNNING EL CAPITAN, NOW CAN NOT CONNECT
For the past three years I have been running 4 cameras with only the occasional crash.
Hard drive crashed.
Installed new SSD and re-loaded Security Spy, used all of the same settings that I had running on SS for years.
I cannot connect, and nothing I can do will help. I can connect to cameras in a browser, but SS will not connect.
Is there an issue with El Capitan? I was running Mavericks before the hard drive crash.
This is a critical DVR that I use to monitor a remote lake house. HELP!

Loaded SS onto a second MAC running El Capitan, and cannot get it to connect either.

Just used Foscam JPG as camera instead of the model and it worked

Good to hear you got it working again. If you let us know the exact make/model of your camera(s) we can suggest optimal settings. But if you have a Foscam camera that can only supply JPEG data (not H.264 data), then the "Foscam JPEG" setting is the one to use.
