Scary message in my log file...
Hi Ben,
I just noticed this message in my log file :
31-08-2015 0805-21: Error running the built-in web server 3.4.7,708,-36 Disk I/O error - possible corrupt disk - please reformat or replace
other than this line, I don't experience anything out of the ordinary with my setup... everything seems to work fine.
I'm running a Techtool diagnose now to see if something comes up, but do you think my disk is really corrupt ?
My main system disk is a SSD, and my SecuritySpy recordings go to a separate volume (striped RAID set with Diskutil).
Which disk is the log message referring to ?

Hi Peter,
Sorry for the scare, these file system error messages can actually apply to network connections as well as file system connections, and in this case it refers to a web server network connection failing, and is therefore nothing to worry about. It does not indicate a bad disk, and we'll take steps to make sure this message is not reported for network connections in future versions of SecuritySpy. -
Aah... thanks for the heads up.
Techtool didn't find any bad blocks or corrupt structures either, so that's reassuring.
As for network issues, that might be possible. I have been experimenting with ubiquiti long network links to replace my flaky powerline connectors. This error is probably related to a setting I was trying out.
