NO audio and Slow/pixelated
Hi: I've had a problem with my Hikvision (DS-2CD2432F-IW) cameras - I can't get any audio out of any of them. I've tried various settings but nothing seems to work. Any idea why this might be happening?
Also, i'm getting frozen images, pixelated, slow-updates. This started happening when I moved my network to use the Time Capsule as a router instead of the modem. I'm not sure why that would matter.
Any ideas what might be happening?
Please let me know - and thanks in advance.

One other note - I have two licenses of Security Spy. One one machine it consumers very little CPU. The one mentioned above it's running at about 100%. So there's something making it work hard!

Some good news - I figured out the CPU problem - I switched to JPEG and it consumes much less. Still, I can't get the audio working.

Have you tried updating the camera's firmware to the latest version? This often solves problems such as this.
Also worth checking is if audio is actually turned on in the camera's settings pages (connect to the camera using a web browser to check this).
In the Camera Status window in SecuritySpy, do you see a small audio level meter and speaker icon next to the camera?
Note that if you have changed the "Format" setting in the Video Device Settings window to "JPEG HTTP", you won't get audio. For audio, you will have to choose the "H.264 RTSP" setting here (the camera can send audio over RTSP but not HTTP protocol). If this setting uses too much CPU, turn down the frame rate in the camera's settings pages.
Hope this helps.
