SS remembering old DNS?

I used a DNS when I had the trial, now that the trial has ended and I bought the license it wouldn't let me use the same DNS. So I picked a new DNS. I have not changed the DNS in my phone, only changed in the settings of SS. However I am still able to access the cameras from my phone with the old DNS?? What is going on and how do I get it to cancel the old DNS? I have tried to delete the old DNS and save without a DNS entered, but even doing that I can still see the cameras on my phone. By the way I am using Remote Patrol on my iPhone. And to be more specific I deleted my old DNS in the web sever setting in the SS app on my computer. Even after a few hours of waiting I can still view the cameras with the old DNS remotely on my iPhone. Is this normal behavior for the DNS from the web server?

    Hi Felix,

    The DDNS name is tied to the license name, and when transitioning from the demo version to the fully licensed version, this name should have been transferred to and associated with your new license. However this doesn't seem to have happened in your case for some reason (perhaps you set up the licensed version on a different computer than the demo version?)

    In any case, the old one still works because your public IP address hasn't yet changed. Restarting your router may cause the IP address to change, and therefore cause the old DDNS address to stop working. Alternatively, the old DDNS address will expire after 30 days, so you can simply wait.

    Or, if you want us to completely remove it from our system we can do this for you, simply email us, telling us the old DDNS name.
