Running Security Spy on a separate user ID in the background

I have an Instalation where the operator has a Mac. He wants me to set up a separate user ID for the security spy program. This way, at the end of the day, he can close his user ID down and the Security Spy would stay operating. My understanding is two users can't be signed into the same Mac at the same time. Is there a work around for this?

    Hi John,

    This is possible by using "Fast User Switching". Go to the Users & Groups system preference, click Login Options, and enable the "Show fast user switching menu as..." option.

    Then, log in to the SecuritySpy account and start SecuritySpy running. Go back to the Login Window via the Fast user switching menu, and you can log in to a different account while the SecuritySpy account is running in the background.

    The only limitation here is that the system will block access to the Mac's built-in camera and USB cameras for any background user, for privacy reasons.
