incorrect aspect ratio in saved videos (DCS-930L)
Hi folks,
I use a D-Link DCS-930L, which shoots in a 4:3 aspect ratio, but the videos saved by SecuritySpy motion detection are stretched to a 16:9 aspect ratio. As a result, everything looks a bit out of proportion. I looked around at all the settings I could find, but found no answer. Any suggestions?

Hi, SecuritySpy will record at the resolution and aspect ratio provided by the camera, it will never distort the incoming video to something different. So I suggest that you go through the camera's settings pages, to see if there is a setting to control the video resolution and aspect ratio (connect to it using a web browser to view its settings). The camera's specifications state 640x480, which is 4:3 as you correctly state, so I'm surprised you're having this issue, but hopefully there is a simple setting in the camera's web interface for this.
If this doesn't fix it, are you able to email us a short video clip to demonstrate?
