OK I know the camera is a POS but they are priced right. Following the guidance back in december i did the manual set up I checked the firmware and it is newer then anything on their site. There are no errors in the log. I don't get the PTZwindow. I have the 3.4.4 version of SS I can see camera and set other things just not PTZ Any ideas of what I may have missed?

    Hi,

    Firstly make sure you are using the latest version of SecuritySpy. Then make sure you are using the "Foscam JPEG" device profile in SecuritySpy, which has the PTZ controls enabled.

    Does this resolve your issue?

    OK I could have been clearer

    1) I am using version 3.4.4 of SS which you site says is the newest
    2) I was a forum post which said do a manual configuration.... that didn't work I am now using FOSCAM JPEG still no PTZ control
    3) There are no errors related to that camera
    4) The Camera is brand new and has a firmware newer then their updates

    So no the problem is not resolved

    oooops and when I changed to JPEG the default had a check block on the disable pan/zoom uncheck and it works fine .. my mistake I was following an older post
