video blanking

Hi I'm on SS 3.2.1. I've just noticed that even though I'm using 'video blanking' SS stillrecords the whole picture. Is this normal ?

    Hi, this is not normal; if you have specified a blanking mask, this area should be blanked out in all captured video footage. 3.2.1 is quite an old version - are you able to upgrade to the latest version of SecuritySpy, or are you using version 3.2.1 for a specific reason (e.g. PPC compatibility)?

    If you disable the "No recompression" options for the device(s) in the Video Device Settings window, does this resolve the problem?

    Hi I had checked ' no recompression ' option, but I've just downloaded the upgrade and it has resolved the issue, thanks.
