Problem with remote access
I have had remote connections working previously but now just cannot get them to work. I have both HTTP (8002) and HTTPS (8001) enabled. If I access my server as http://myserver.viewcam.me:8002 I get the login box but when I put my (good) credentials in I get login failed. If I access https://myserver.viewcam.me:8001 I get nothing. I can login locally fine via http://192.168.0.125:8002. My port forward is obviously working or I wouldn't see the login box.
I am running V6.14

If you see the SecuritySpy login box with the SecuritySpy logo, then remote access is indeed working. If you can't log in from there, the only explanation is that you are entering incorrect login details - these must match a web account that has been set up under Settings > Web.
However, you should not use unencrypted HTTP to access your system from over the Internet. Redo the port forwarding settings so that only the secure HTTPS port 8001 is available. If you have any issues, email us and include screenshots that show all relevant settings (Web settings in SecuritySpy and router port forwarding settings), along with a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) and we will work with you directly to get this working.

My login details are definitely correct, I have actually retyped them several times in case there was a rogue character. I have also created a second username. And yes I am aware I shouldn't use http over a remote connection, I'm simply trying to get anything to work in an attempt to diagnose the problem.
I will take this to email thanks.
