This is showing on a remote verison of SS on only one of three cameras
How do I remove this dialog box?

  • By "remote version", do you mean to say that you are using one instance of SecuritySpy to view another? If so, you'll need to leave the viewing-only instance unregistered with all its cameras in Passive mode, then as long as the server instance is registered you won't get the demo banners.

  • Having the same problem with the new v4. 10 days left for the trial mode of the remote SS.
  • After the remote viewing copy of SecuritySpy ends its trial period, it will still work for viewing only, so you shouldn't have any problems when this happens. You simply won't be able to arm any of the capture modes (continuous/motion/actions) so it won't record anything.
  • Now that it's expired, it randomly moves and resizes the SS window. More annoyingly, it places it over my current application's window.

    This won't be related to the trial period ending. Earlier versions of SecuritySpy didn't correctly remember some of the positions of its widows upon restart, so to check if it's this, make sure you are using the latest version of SecuritySpy (currently 4.0.5). If you are still having problems with window positions and sizes in this version, please describe them in detail, with steps to reproduce, and we will investigate.
