Does camera reset to defaults when unplugged too long?

I know this may be more of a camera question than a bensoft question but I accidentally unplugged my Foscam R2 before going away for 5 days, and now it doesn't show up in Sec Spy, even after restarting the camera and software. Do I have to set it up like a new camera?

    I have never heard of this before - settings should be stored on some non-volatile memory in the camera. However it's certainly possible, and Foscam don't have the best reputation for quality. If you are having trouble getting the camera working then I would suggest resetting it to factory settings and setting it up again like a new camera.

    Thanks... for whatever reason when I unplugged and replugged the camera tonight it came back to life and Sec. Spy is recording again.
