Switching from IVMS-4200 on a Mac.
I have two remote camera locations, one camera at an office and four more at a stableyard which I was monitoring at home on my Mac with IVMS-4200 and like others on here it no longer works with latest Mac OS software. I do also use the HikVision app which is useful but still want to monitor on the big screen desktop. If I switch to Security Spy can I still use the HikVision app? Or is it either/or?
Also I've read some of the switching instructions on threads here but is it the same for when the cameras are at a remote location with their own Servers at each location? I'm only partially tech able when it comes to this so I'm trying to see if I can do it myself or whether I'll have to get someone in to help at three separate location (office / stableyard / home).

Modern cameras and NVRs are able to provide multiple simultaneous streams, so using SecuritySpy in parallel with other viewers shouldn't be an issue.
The fact that your cameras are accessed remotely does add extra complexity. To clarify, is iVMS connecting directly to the cameras, with the cameras being exposed to the Internet at each location, or is there a Hikvision NVR at each location, and this is exposed to the Internet?
The next question is: what ports are being exposed to the Internet in the port forwarding rules in the routers at each location? SecuritySpy requires only port 554 for RTSP, but it's possible that iVMS is working with different ports.
If you can provide more information about your exact setup, and provide screenshots showing the router port forwarding rules at each location, we will be able to advise you further. If you can also send screenshots showing the device configuration in iVMS for each camera this would also be very useful. If you don't want to post this on this public forum, please email us and we can continue this conversation there.
