Can't get Configure Settings or Preferences

Since yesterday, I can't access Configure Settings or open preferences for any and all cameras. All cameras are working, but no notifications or capturing of video is happening.
I have restarted twice and reinstalled the software from a copy I downloaded today.
Any hints on what to look for?

  • SecuritySpy can't configure camera settings directly - are you referring to the "Open In Web Browser" button under Preferences - Cameras - Device?

    In terms of capturing and notifications, the most likely explanation here is that the schedules for your cameras are not set correctly. Please see the Recording and Schedules section of the user manual for more information.

    If the above doesn't help, I think the best way to help you with this would be for you to email us and we'll help you with this directly. Please include in your email screenshots of all relevant settings, as well as the log file (File menu > Open Log) and the debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop).
