Motion Trigger Settings to avoid "rain"
I recently set up Action Triggers and I have an email sent for every action during the overnight hours. However, whenever it rains (or snows), i get hundreds of emails (last night 1300). Any recommendateions on what the best settings are? My current setting are as follows:
Video Trigger: Motion Detection - All Movement
Motion Trigger duration: 2 sec
Motion detection sesitivity: 50
Audio threshold: 50
Ignore whole frame motion - CHECKED
All 3 Obeject detection thresholds set at 50
Thanks

It's difficult to tell what could be going wrong without further information. Some possible things to check:
If this doesn't resolve the problem, please email us and include a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) along with one of these false-positive recordings, and we'll take a look and see what we can suggest.
Thanks
I will try some of your suggestions

I am having the same problem on the new version with all settings bumped up to 75 and set to 2.5 seconds. I tried having groups of cameras with different settings to compare and or isolate. Dialing down the sensitivity to higher numbers helped but not much. Having either the general sensitivity or the target (human, automobile) increased the number of triggers from precipitation
Rain or mist causes hundreds of emails. Using a current dedicated Mac mini with 6 cameras.
Hi @Curtis are you using AI object detection? This is the thing that will cut out most false-positives. If you are already using this, and you're still seeing this problem, please email us and include screenshots to demonstrate your settings, and the kind of false-positives you are getting, and we'll work with you to improve this.
SS V6.0 AI is set to 75 along with the general setting.
