Last betas not playing all captured video
Good to hear you managed to resolve this. I'm not sure why there could have been duplicate copies of the captured files - do you know why this happened? Thanks.

Schedule for nighttime cars, daytime no cars?
If there are parked cars, then I would suggest simply using the standard motion detection for this, and turning off the AI, so that SecuritySpy records all motion. This should work well both in daylight and at night. There is no option at present to…

I agree that it would be nice if the web view could do some of the things you are suggesting. From a development point of view, it's difficult having to maintain four different interfaces (SecuritySpy UI, iOS app, tvOS app and web), and sometim…

I can't think of anything that changed in 5.3.1 specifically that would have an impact here. A timeout indicates that the device is not responding at all, or the address for the device in SecuritySpy is incorrect. This is consistent with the pr…

New WiFi 6 Router and not seeing cameras
Do you mean the cameras were on the 5 GHz band and the computer was on the 2.4 GHz band? This shouldn't be an issue - the network should be functionally the same. However there may be some strangeness with this particular router. In general, I…

Hi Ed, please try deleting SecuritySpy from your Mac (this won't affect your settings - simply drag it to the Trash and empty the trash). Then download and install a fresh copy from the SecuritySpy download page and open it. Then do you see the…

I'm afraid there's not enough information here to diagnose the problem. We would ideally need to know what errors you are seeing in SecuritySpy. My guess would be that the cameras now have new IP addresses perhaps, and SecuritySpy is still…

Apple TV Camera reconnection issue
This is a known issue with the current Apple TV app, whereby it will not always reconnect to cameras after disconnection. We do plan to update the app soon to address this.

Trigger "All Cameras Record" through HTTP(S) Remote Access
Hi - in the latest beta version of SecuritySpy (currently 5.3.2b4), we've added the option to trigger all cameras via the triggermd HTTP request by specifying a camera number of -1. Hope this helps - please confirm this works as expected.

You can control the ordering of the components of the date via Preferences > General, but beyond that the file naming is fixed. We wouldn't add such an option as a built-in feature, but it's fairly easy to do via AppleScript, as follow…

We've seen this problem specifically with Hikvision cameras and the M1 Macs. At this time we're not sure what the cause of the problem is, or if there is a workaround. We are investigating. @7RDR7 - are you using Hikvision cameras?
