Can't connect with Live Cams Pro
  • When trying to add Security Spy cameras to Live Cams Pro I get the following error:

    Error saving camera
    Live Cams Pro was unable to import any camera data (no cameras found or server uses non UTF-8 encoding for camera data)

    I am using the SS dynamic DNS.

    I was able to get the cameras to connect using Remote Patrol.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.
  • Hi Karsen, I'm not sure immediately why this might be the case. While Remote Patrol knows that SecuritySpy usually operates on port 8000, Live Cams Pro might not, so you may have to specify this explicitly. Also make sure you have the correct username and password entered into Live Cams Pro. If you are still having problems I would suggest you contact the developers of this app as they should be able to help you.
